Daughters of The American Colonists in Texas,
I am honored to serve as your elected State Regent. Your State Board has discussed the immediate need of increasing but also maintaining all of our current membership.
Your thoughtful suggestions and offers of assistance is very heart warming. Together we will accomplish our dreams and thoughts of the joy of belonging to our wonderful Society TSSDAC. We have less than two years to lay our ground work and then move to implement our success story. Each chapter should feel freedom to share or suggest old and tried methods, but also new changes or avenues to reach our membership increase. Together united we will have satisfaction with our efforts toward that noble goal.
Education will occur as we work toward membership increase. Texas is a land of diversity. This is a challenge perhaps, or not? Make it interesting whatever path you pursue. I am excited and I want to share in your enthusiasm, plans, and results.
Remember….but they that wait upon the lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31, The Bible
Yours in DAC Progress, Gail Loving Barnes, State Regent
